We believe setting a difficulty level is a valuable piece of information.

Why don't we say all Phyllium species are easy to breed? and thus sell more?

Because if we list everything as "easy" you might think Phyllium breeding is not for you when you fail with a culture.

Here we explain how you can interpret the difficulty levels we have set up.
In general the difficulty levels refer to the first stage(s) after hatching.

⭐★★★★ - Easy
Species listed as easy are ideal for every beginner without any experience.
These species are thus very forgiving if your conditions are not optimal.
⭐⭐★★★ - Intermediate
For these species, a little experience won't hurt.
But in general they are also very forgiving and easy to breed.
⭐⭐⭐★★ - Advanced
Advanced species are species that are more difficult to start feeding as freshly hatched nymphs.
It is advisable to use "the free standing method,, to minimize the death in L1.
⭐⭐⭐⭐★ - Difficult
The small group of difficult species are best reserved for experienced breeders looking for a challenge.
These species are usually food specialists or need a more specific setup.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - PRO
Species in the PRO group are not for the faint of heart.
Even the most experienced breeders will still be challenged by these species.
